Temperature Fluctuations
A faulty tridicator can give inaccurate temperature or pressure readings, making it difficult to properly evaluate boiler operation. Incorrect readings may hide problems such as excessive system pressure or a failing expansion tank, or may make a normally operating boiler appear to have a problem.
False or stuck readings can also lead to unnecessary troubleshooting, incorrect diagnosis, or replacement of components that are still functioning properly.
